_ Key objectives & responsibilities include:_


Reporting to the
ILS Manager, this role is responsible for supporting delivery of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Systems, which includes Maintenance, Technical Data, Supply, Training and other technical aspects of the ILS Program.


  • Conduct ILS Support System Capabilities Analysis activities to inform data requirements, to ensure relevant ILS support systems are defined and contractual deliverables are achieved
  • Develop maintenance and spares requirements and deliverables (such as Maintenance Task Instructions)
  • Develop and manage the schedule and resources, as well as manage the team's workload
  • Engage with Project Management, Production, Design, Procurement and any other integrated teams to gather suitable data to support maintenance, technical data, supply and training development
  • Coordinate System Supportability Analysis activities of SME's
  • Skills to prepare tender, budget for the team.
  • Maintain the ILS issues and risk register

_ Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:_

  • Australian Citizenship
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical (or equivalent)
  • 5 years' experience in a similar position, within an ILS or Sustainment Program preferable in Marine Environment.


  • Computer skills

  • MSoffice.
  • Strong project management experience
  • Have a solid working knowledge and understanding of Defence logistic support
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a strong technical writing ability
  • Experience with leading and managing a team effectively and by example
  • Understanding of the importance and role of data in the logistics program
  • MADe software and financial skills desirable
