- $61 per hour plus super

Parramatta, option to WFH

Our client a large NSW state government department is seeking a

Video Production Support Officer on a short term contract role. This role is based in Paramatta with WFH options available.

Duties and responsibilities

Produce a range of communications content and materials to provide quality, accurate and relevant information to stakeholders, including editing and postproduction of video content.
Repurpose and reformat video content for all relevant external and internal channels including social media
Translate audio, video, graphics and digital animation and other digital media content into various distributable formats
Manage digital media data, monitor/maintain server storage and maintain software and hardware for digital media acquisition, player and editor servers.
Create physical backups of stored content on servers and is responsible for keeping records of all content available for viewing, downloading and archiving.
Coordinating multiple projects in a fastpaced environment with frequently adjusting priorities.
Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of the departments priorities and emerging issues to ensure development of communications that are effective in reaching target audiences.
Providing video and multimedia advice and technical support and support video conferencing services with the broader cluster.

Essential Skills and Experience:

34 years of experience in video editing and post production role
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop and working knowledge of After Effects
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation software
Strong creative and storytelling abilities, with an eye for detail and visual composition.
Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively within a team environment.
Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, Character Animator desirable
