The Role

The Rostering Coordinator is an integral position playing a crucial role in supporting the service delivery team to effectively maintain well-balanced and accurate staff rosters in a timely manner.


Reporting to the Service Managers this role will liaise with multiple departments and act as a pivotal resource for frontline staff to ensure appropriate coverage of staffing to ensure the delivery of services across Sydney and Melbourne.


_Duties include, however are not limited to._

  • Ensuring accurate staff coverage across services
  • Support Services management team with proactive and reactive staffing and
- capacity planning

  • Communicating rosters and roster changes to relevant staff and managers
  • Support recruitment by engaging with applicants regarding agreed rostering requirements within recruitment processes.
  • Administer advised workforce planning requirements, including roster changes, leave and absence planning to ensure effective coverage of all shifts to participants and service delivery targets.

_To be successful in the position, you will have / be._

  • Rostering experience
  • Essential:
  • A passion and strong interest in mental health
  • Essential:
  • Experience working within SCHADS/HPSS Awards and rostering requirements

  • Strong communication and engagement skills
  • Excellent administration and attention to detail
  • Agility and timely responsiveness
  • End to end rostering and coordination processes
  • Highly effective time management skills and exceptional attention to detail
