Labourpower Trade are seeking both a Technician & Technical Supervisor to join our clients Operations Team within their State of the art crate washing facility in Forrestfield, WA


Applicants will need to possess technical or mechanical ability and can demonstrate the ability to self-manage, work autonomously and think logically.

About the Role:


Technician - Reporting directly to the shift supervisor, you will cover a number of positions from operating processing equipment, complete maintenance & cleaning tasks through to moving stock with a forklift & serving customers.


Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate processing equipment
  • Complete Maintenance tasks
  • Cleaning duties as required
  • Moving stock by hand and with a forklift
  • Manual labouring
  • Serving customers

To be considered for this position, you will possess the following qualities:

  • High Mechanical/Electrical aptitude
  • Previous, Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within the FMCG industry or similar environment
  • The ability to trouble shoot, problem solve and operate automated process equipment
  • High quality verbal and communication skills & the ability to work both within a team and autonomously
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Exposure to automation and controls


  • Forklift licence

  • Essential
  • Hands on and participate in all areas of production and dispatch


  • Trade Qualification

  • Highly advantageous
