THE OPPORTUNITY


The Career Management Specialist (CMS) role is responsible for working directly with customers who purchase and/or participants of Career Management Programs.

The CMS delivers individual career management programs, employment search education and workshops to pro-actively plan out and action a change in employment and or career goal.


The role will administer career management instruments, such as the Birkman Methodology and follow the prescribed programs as per the tailored offering for our purchasers.

The role is focussed on securing meaningful and sustainable employment outcomes for participants and is heavily focussed on building and establishing relationships to support change.


This will be a Full-Time, Permanent Position based in either our Sydney or Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home 3 days per week once you complete training.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide and support participants through career change, setting clear expectations of all parties involved in a program.
  • Regular proactive communication to customers' business representatives and participants of the programs being delivered.
  • In consultation with key parties, proactively seek out host employers for work placements and work trials.
  • Clarify and manage key stakeholder expectation and allocating appropriate resources to ensure the delivery of effective outcomes.
  • Plan and develop content for educational workshops to program participants and customers.
  • Provide expertise and support for internal initiatives and change management.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience within industries of either HR, Recruitment, Career Management or Coaching, Employment Placement and related fields.
  • Understanding of the Victorian Workers Compensation legislation is desirable.
  • Degree qualified in HR, Recruitment, Career Management or similar industry is desired but not essential.
  • Proficient and demonstrated ability in MS office suites.
  • Must have a current drivers licence.
