GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

Our services cover all aspects of a project life cycle from the initial evaluation and study phase through to design, constructions, commissioning and operational support.

On the WMP site, GRES is responsible for the construction and commissioning.

In this role you will be an expert in welding inspections with thorough understanding of AS 5131, AS 4100, AS and have working knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001.

With welding inspector qualifications to substantiate your work experience, you must also be able to demonstrate a good understanding of civil and surface infrastructure construction.


  • Provide technical advice and assistance to the Project team on all quality related activities.
  • Implement project quality management system, quality plans and ITP's.
  • Perform relevant inspections in accordance with governing standards and client specifications.
  • Register complaints received and nonconformances identified.
  • Liaise with client inspection representatives, undertaking routine surveillance inspections.
  • Assist with the production, completion and collation of relevant verification documentation.
  • Compile MDR & quality assurance records and ensure qualification records are maintained and managed.

What you will bring

  • Welding inspection qualification preferred (Minimum WTIA IWI, CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent).
  • NACE Qualification/equivalent or having thorough knowledge and experience in painting inspection.
  • Proven experience within ISO 9001 Quality Management.
  • Experience in a similar QA/QC role preferably processing plant experience.
  • Advanced written communications skills with the ability to prepare reports, plans, technical instructions etc.
  • Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to develop relationships with all project personnel.
