Job Description:
Newly created opportunity for a
Service Delivery Manager to join our Government and Defence IT team, where you will work closely with service providers and SMEs to design and develop infrastructure support model and transitions plans for Government & Defence IT services related to Wintel and Networks.
You will lead SLA delivery to the business, working closely with Infrastructure Analysts and Support partners, to meet business and customer requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop processes and methods of working which ensure that the suppliers work together as one group for the business and the customer.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, evaluation and review of service management processes and standards, enabling clear standards and processes to be built.
- Document and implement any new workflow processes and procedures aimed at reducing risks and/or improving quality.
- Actively drive innovation and change across the team through strong leadership. Positively influencing mindsets and improving the overall capability of multiple teams or work groups.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in IT Service Management
- Experience creating technical design documents, training documents, test cases and deployment plans for Change Requests/Enhancements
- Vendor management experience
- Deep technical knowledge of Systems, Servers, Network, EUC devices and other IT Infrastructure
- Experience managing Government & Defence IT systems (advantageous)
- Bachelor degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
- Project Management Certification (PMP / PMI / PRINCE2 /PMBOK or equivalent) is desirable
- Service management Certification (ITIL, HDI, etc) is desirable
- Possess relevant IT certifications like ITIL, Azure
