The Opportunity
Nextt has an immediate opportunity for an experienced
Part Time Disability Support Worker to work with our client in
Wacol.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in Disability Support Work
- Compassion for people with disability and/or mental illness
- A relevant qualification
The role may involve
- Community access and recreational activities
- Personal care
- Behavioural and Mental Health Support
- Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
- Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists
- Transportation and social engagement
Essential Criteria
- The legal right to work in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Employee Blue Card/Working with Children Check
- Valid Australian Driver licence with reliable transport
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Employees will be required to abide by all mandatory directives as mandated within the relevant state or territory that they work.
