Overview:

Your Role


This position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis with a hybrid working approach working in our Brisbane CBD office and WFH.


Responsibilities:


You will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of insurance policies to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Perform regular audits of insurance documentation, including policies, endorsements, and certificates, to identify errors or discrepancies
  • Monitor insurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and legal standards
  • Identify and report any errors or inconsistencies in insurance documentation, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective actions
  • Provide training and guidance to insurance agents and underwriters on quality assurance best practices, regulatory requirements, and procedural updates
  • Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities, findings, and corrective actions taken. Prepare detailed reports for management review
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality assurance processes, streamline workflows, and optimise efficiency

Qualifications:

We're interested in hearing from people who possess:

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on quality assurance, in-depth knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and compliance standards
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and insurance management software
