Exact Contracting are searching for a trade qualified
Diesel Fitter to join their maintenance team at the Olympic Dam Shotcrete project in Roxby Downs, South Australia

This is a great opportunity for those who already have experience with underground mining equipment or those who are seeking to break into the mining/FIFO industry and come from a truck, bus or agriculture background.

The Role:

The Shotcrete project is responsible for delivering Shotcrete and Concrete products for surface and underground operations.

Based in a surface workshop, you will be responsible for fault finding, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on a range of agitator trucks and some of our sites plant.

Although a surface based role, you will be expected to work underground as well as the surface and in hot, dry and dusty conditions whilst attending infield breakdowns.

Our Fleet:

-
Agitator Trucks: Elphinstone WR820, Normet LF600/700, Mack Metroliner;
-
Loaders: CAT950, CAT966, CAT IT6

Diesel Trade Qualification (essential);
Autoelectrical experience (highly regarded);
Current unrestricted driver's licence;
Experience maintaining road transport and earth moving equipment;
Commitment to safety and compliance with site requirements;
Dedication to learning, high quality work and achieving goals;
Strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work in a team.
