We have an exciting opportunity for a warehouse assistant to join our warehouse in Tullamarine on a full-time, fixed term contract until December 2024.

What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role will contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse during a key electoral activity


Responsiblities will include:

  • Picking and packing of various consignments
  • Adhering to stock control procedures, including record management
  • Delivering consignments in a onetonne van
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles (manually and by forklift)
  • General warehouse cleaning and maintenance when required
What you will bring to the role

  • A current and valid forklift's license (mandatory. High reach and counterbalance experience preferred)
  • A current and valid car driver's license (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse (certification level preferred)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fastpaced business environment
  • Commitment to the VEC's core vales
