The role


We have an exciting NEW opportunity for a passionate and collaborative team player to take on the responsibility of planning, coordinating, and delivering our high-quality internal events.


As the Events Manager you will be responsible for the oversight of the School Events Program, including the leading and managing Major School events, providing support to Event Owners of major recurring annual events and providing advice and guidance on the conduct of events across the School.

You must be aligned with the School's ethos, vision and values.

You will possess a positive outlook, exceptional interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence with demonstrated ability to build authentic, collaborative relationships.

Importantly, you will be proactive in involving yourself in the life of the School.


The successful applicant:


  • A minimum of three years previous experience in event management involving a wide spectrum of events.
  • Highly developed project management skills, ability to work to fixed deadlines and delivers high quality outcomes.
  • Portfolio of successful events or capacity to provide examples of successful events.
  • Proven success in instigating and developing productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and deliver excellent client service. Experience collaborating with volunteers is desirable.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write and create event briefs.
  • Sound understanding and ability to implement effective and efficient systems and processes, both manual and computerised.
  • Tertiary qualifications or post graduate qualifications in event management or allied fields.
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Level II First Aid Certificate is well regarded
  • Relevant Anaphylaxis Awareness Training
  • National Police History Check (obtained within the last 6 months)
