The Opportunity:

Due to growth within the business, our Mount Thorley branch has a permanent full-time position on offer for an experienced Service Technicians who specialises in component overhauls.

Working as a components specialist Service Technician, your role will see you carrying out disassembly, inspection and assembly of Komatsu's world-class large scale mining equipment components in accordance with OEM specifications.

As a Service Technician at Komatsu you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too.

Roster: 5 days x 7.6 hr days with all overtime paid at double time.

There is also opportunity to work on shutdowns and builds in the workshop with roster variations such as Lifestyle 5/4/4/5 mix of day and night shift.

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Qualified Mechanical Fitter (HD Mechanic/Fitter)
Cert 3 Mobile Plant highly desired
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment, and workshop service exposure, including breakdowns and diagnostics, will also be highly regarded within the construction and mining sector.
A minimum of C class Licence
Auto Electrical experience, qualifications, and diagnostic skills will be highly regarded.
Working at heights qualification would be great but not crucial.
Ability to follow required job scope & critical path.
Safety focused mindset is paramount.
Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office
Ability to work unsupervised.
