Are you looking for a Verification & Validation Technician role in Sydney? Do you have experience of verifying systems and testing prototypes? My client is a global innovator of highly complex medical/health care devices, looking for Verification & Validation Technicians to work with the team on new and existing products.

With a recent move to their new, larger and state of the art facility, this publicly listed ASX200 medical devices company develops, manufactures and commercialises a range of unique healthcare related solutions for an international client base.

In an exponential growth phase, they are committed to developing innovative technologies in the healthcare space.


Role and Responsibilities**You will support the Verification and Validation Team in verification of System Requirements and perform exploratory and investigative testing on new prototypes to provide feedback to the Systems Engineers.

  • Build and test prototypes, identify design sensitivity, critical parameters and limits
  • Assist in the creation and documentation of novel test methodologies including SW
development/support

  • Provide feedback and recommendations for product/design changes
  • Participate in root cause analysis and failure analysis activities
  • Provide crossfunctional team support
  • Participate in Verification and Validation test activities
  • Develop verification and validation test protocols and reports
  • Perform system and integration verification tests to verify the product meets system
requirements

  • Work with Design and Systems teams to resolve issues found during testing
  • Develop experiments to determine the best approach to resolve complex technical issues
  • Perform exploratory and investigative testing

Your Skills and Experience

  • Electronics, Biomedical or Mechatronics engineering degree or undergraduate
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Initiative, selfdriven, flexible team player
  • Effective interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and time constraints
  • Experience testing medical devices would be well regarded
