Ruby and Ollie's are looking for an outstanding
Relief Team Leader to join our established Thornlands centre while our current team leader is on leave, with the progression to provide relief support across both our Thornlands and Mackenzie service's.

About Us
Ruby and Ollie's are a growing and inclusive OSHC operator. We have various sites in South East Queensland with many on special school sites. More than just an OSHC we offer NDIS-funded in-home support services to provide holistic support for children and families.

Our OSHC care centres are central to our connection with families and communities.

Being a Team Leader
The role requires a combination of hands-on care work, planning and management. The Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day organisation and management of the OSHC service.

They are well-supported by a team of passionate professionals to ensure the centre reflects the expectations of the communities we work with.


The Team Leader works collaboratively to plan, supervise and guide their team to ensure a high-quality, compliant and supportive environment is delivered to children each and every day.

The Team Leader is central in collaborating with parents and external allied health professionals to identify and address children's unique care needs.

Qualifications and Experience:


Essential

  • Diploma of Early Childhood or relevant equivalent for school age care in Queensland.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • First Aid, including CPR
  • Emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis Training (or a willingness to obtain)
  • Experience managing a team
  • Child Protection Training

Desirable

  • Experience working with a person/s with additional needs
  • Willingness to obtain Seizure Management training

Salary:
Up to $31.78 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
