The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader of Community Learning & Development and supported by the Creative Technologies Programs Officer, this exciting role will be responsible for:

  • working collaboratively and providing specialist advice across Council to enable the development of innovative community based digital learning projects and engagement strategies for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities; and
- researching and making recommendations on new and emerging technologies and their alignment with relevant Council strategies and objectives.

Essential Skills and Experience
Your passion for learning, combined with your knowledge and ability to master new digital technologies, will be vital to your success in this role


Additionally, you will have:
- demonstrated experience developing and delivering technology based one on one and group training across a range of demographics;
- experience with or a desire to learn programs such as Beebots and Mindstorms, virtual and augmented reality, coding, 3D special effects, Digital Art and 3D modelling/printing;
- demonstrated experience mentoring staff and volunteers within a community learning environment; and
- proven ability to initiate, build and maintain positive internal and external partnerships to deliver innovative community focussed digital learning and engagement projects.
