As a Business Banking Consultant you will work closely with the Business Banking Manager to produce lending submissions that comprehensively demonstrate and articulate an assessment of business lending opportunities including compliance with internal policies and relevant legislation / regulations.

Description:


Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the management of cost and revenue lines within agreed budget parameters
  • Ensure lending "margins" charged are appropriate for the business relationship.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of financial statements, income tax returns, ATO portal documents and have the capacity to stress test financial information including cash flow statements
  • To provide lending and customer relationship administrative support to the Business Banking Manager, the Business Banking Team and customer facing roles across the business, actioning leads and opportunities from Branches, CRC and digital channels.
  • Ensure that Annual reviews of all business relationships are completed in terms of policy and within acceptable timeframes.
  • Work closely with Credit Team for management of business lending facilities that are either at risk, overdrawn or overdue
  • Contribute to the achievement of lending growth and referral budgets.

Skills and Experiences:


To be successful, you need to meet the following criteria:
Understanding financial analysis, complex structures and credit risk management capacity
Organisational and time management skills
Customer Service focus
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Strong attention to detail
Relevant tertiary qualifications are not essential but would be favourably viewed
