Role Overview
As an Assembler / Warehouse Assistant team member, you will take on a vital role in our operations.

After onsite training, you will take charge of assembling our complex products, managing and maintaining the warehouse, receiving incoming goods, picking and dispatching orders, and assembling customer products.

You will work closely with our engineer to refine and enhance assembly procedures and our products.


Duties will include

  • Assemble complex products, such as water pumps, water cannons, and control systems, after receiving onsite training.
  • Manage and maintain the warehouse, ensuring that inventory is organized and easily accessible.
  • Receive incoming goods, inspecting them for quality and accuracy.
  • Pick and dispatch orders, ensuring that they are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Assemble customer products according to specifications, ensuring that they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Work closely with the engineer to refine and enhance assembly procedures and our products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including adhering to safety standards and cleaning up after work is completed.
  • Be adaptable to changing business demands and challenging situations.
  • Work as part of a team, collaborating with other team members to achieve goals and complete tasks.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Basic computer skills to use inventory management systems and other digital tools.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems to maintain accurate records and manage inventory levels.
  • Full Australian work rights to be eligible to work fulltime.
  • Current driver and forklift license to operate vehicles and equipment safely.
  • An organized approach to work procedures to ensure that products are assembled efficiently and accurately.
  • The ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with other team members to achieve goals and complete tasks.
  • Adaptability to changing business demands and challenging situations, as priorities can shift quickly in a manufacturing environment.
  • A keen eye for detail, quality, safety, and cleanliness to ensure that products meet high standards and that the work environment is safe and clean.
  • Honesty and reliability to maintain a high level of trust with other team members and customers.

Salary:
$50, $60,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Shift work

Experience:


  • Assembly: 1 year (preferred)
  • Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (preferred)
