The Opportunity


This exciting role reports into the National Facilities & Maintenance Manager], and is responsible for providing SME oversight and support for F&M engineering services to the wider Primary Connect F&M team in managing DC F&M operation, and Risk and Compliance elements.

You will ensure that the site facility and assets are managed in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and Codes of Practice; comply with local and statutory regulations; Landlord and insurance requirements; and Primary Connect's standards, policies and procedures.

Utilising your leadership, great communication skills to work directly with your team to achieve high delivery standards. Bringing your passion for helping people experience a great end to end seamless experience. In this role, you will be building an engineering SME for all matters relating to F&M services, operations, risk and compliance (e.g. Fire, HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, and Plumbing services).

What you'll bring

  • Cert IV in Trade or Engineering or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 8 plus years experience in the facilities and/or property industry, industrial preferred but not essential
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development. technical
  • Building / Engineering trade background is preferred but not essential
  • Proven track record of contract and contractor management Effective communication skills written communications are succinct and always autochecked for grammar and spelling
