About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a new role within Victoria Police - People Development Command.
The Academic Timetabling Manager reports directly to the Business Manager, People Development Command who has responsibility for the provision of services to support delivery of quality education programs across Victoria Police.
As the Academic Timetabling Manager, you will be required to develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders across People Development Command's Centres of Learning.
The position has a range of responsibilities, including development and implementation of efficient timetabling and scheduling procedures, review and evaluation of existing scheduling practices, planning and management of scheduling projects and leading a team of dedicated staff.

- Provide advice to the People Development Command Assistant Commissioner and Senior Leadership Group.
- Develop timetabling and scheduling options that deliver resourcing efficiencies.
- Lead projects relating to the development of timetabling and scheduling systems.
- Develop and maintain timetabling processes.
- Lead and develop a team to deliver service outcomes and continuous improvement.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- Experience in leading and developing timetabling services in an educational institution.
- A collaborative and consultative approach to problem solving.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
- A demonstrated proactive approach to business issues.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
Requirements and relevant information:
- One (1) x fulltime, ongoing position available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Academy, 1 View Mount Road, Glen Waverley.
