Do you have experience in procurement and have an interest in projects?
Do you have strong communication skills?

The successful applicant will use their expertise as a point of contact for all queries related to the purchase of goods and services.

You will have ownership of the end-to-end process for all simple procurement activities. Additionally, you will support the business operations team, developing related tools and systems while coordinating communication updates.

Though working closely with the Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will primarily work autonomously, guiding key stakeholders through the simple procurement process.

You will be responsible for end-to-end management of all simple procurement activities across DEECA's Planning Group, devising strategies, leading meetings, and providing authoritative guidance in accordance with current policy.

You will be working within a small, collaborative team and be asked to contribute to a variety of projects and develop tools to assist with the learning and development of all team members.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • ZYCUS experience/accreditation required.
  • Qualification or experience in public sector procurement, accounts and contract management is highly desirable.
This is a fixed term position until 30 May 2025
