Responsibilities:


About the role


Our team currently has opportunities available for Technical Managers or trainee technical managers to join our Workers Compensation team in an environment that will allow you to learn and be supported to grow and develop.

If you're considering a move into a technical manager role, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to be fully supported through a structured learning program.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting and coaching team members such as Case Managers and Senior Case Managers to make quality decisions on claims
  • Guiding, advising and assisting customers who require specialist technical assistance
  • Interacting and providing instructions to Legal Panel Firms within the required timeframes on all prelitigated and litigated matters
  • Providing stakeholders with updates in relation to litigated matters
  • Undertaking assessments of entitlements Strategizing with Case Managers through case conferences
  • Undertaking preconciliation checks, assisting with strategy considerations and attending conciliation conferences as required
  • Mentoring and coaching other members of your team

Qualifications:

We're interested in hearing from people who possess:

  • Fantastic customer service skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Experience in client service role
  • Coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills
  • Bachelor of Law Degree and/or Industry Related Qualifications will be ideal, but not essential to your success
