We Are Unity is looking for a Client Program Manager, to manage large-scale transformation programmes across multiple streams of work.
This role will work closely with stakeholders at all levels of the business to ensure the programme is delivered on time, and on budget - all the while providing a fun and engaging client and team experience.
The role will require some travel, as you spend time on site with the client, getting to know their day-to-day operations, building meaningful relationships, and creating change that sticks.
Core Principles
- Oversee and manage all programs of work for your client/s
- Owner of a 'project trix' (scope/ pricing, timings, WIP, budget tracker) ; for your clients, including writing scope of work documents, assisting Client Advisors with scope negotiation, ensuring commercial and scope compliance, tracking the resourcing and project process to deliver to scope (retainer or project)
- Partner to Creative and Solution Teams to ensure integrated excellence in approach to project design and delivery and all relevant resourcing decisions
- Provide client context to Advisory to support lead generation
Day to Day
Commercial Management
- Ensure design and delivery of all projects align with scope, and flag any risks or escalations required outside of this
- Ensure financial health of each client by proactively managing
- Ensure budget retention and output efficiency across each project
- Produce detailed statements of work & assist with client negotiation
- Commercial analysis & budget reporting/ forecasting for each client
- Develop Non Disclosure Agreements/ Supplier agreements with support from Client Advisor, leadership and legal as needed
Project / Client Management
- Work in partnership with client and Advisory team to align on priority & cadence of projects
- In partnership with Head of Creative have a sound understanding of creative requirements across each project, leading creative and project resourcing with clear objectives and milestones
- Daytoday client communication and acting as a point of contact
- Define core ways of working with clients, integrating client ways of working in to our internal processes & vice versa
- Forwardplan, anticipate problems and adapt across workstreams
- Responsible for managing and driving accounts with complex requirements across multiple disciplines and specialisms
- Identify knowledge/resource gaps where necessary and facilitate finding a solution
- Set agenda, lead agenda, host meetings and ensure a clear plan for all team members and clients after meeting to reach next project milestone
- Schedule key project milestones and assign tasks to team members in line with overall workflow
- Supplier management
- Champion of our agency knowledge base and project management platform
- Assist with building bestinclass PowerPoint presentations, Word and Excel documents
- Support Advisory Team with new business
Team Leadership
- Mentor for Project Management team, support the head of project management with developing personal & professional development plans
- Take an active role in all aspects of the Project Management team & be available as an escalation point and problem solver as required able to forecast & firefight in equal measure
- Act as a leader within the project management team, actively contributing to the development of the wider department with the head of PM.
