About the Role:


The role is responsible for providing digital solutions for the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium learning and education programs in order to build an understanding and appreciation of the botanical world.

Digital Education programs and resources are developed in consideration of education best practice, the Australian National Curriculum, state education priorities and the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium strategic and business plans.

The role will be responsible for the development and transition of digital learning resources for web, multimedia and mobile environments, researching and writing learning resources for schools, teachers, students and caregivers outside the school environment.


This role will have strong technical skills and experience with supporting digital technologies in learning, teaching and assessment practices as well as practical experiences in how to effectively deploy Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) in a schools education context.

Contract:
Contract for up to 6 months.


Special Conditions:


  • May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
  • Some out of hours work may be required.
  • Located at the Goodman Building, Adelaide Botanic Garden with programs delivered across all the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium sites.

Remuneration:
ASO6 $95,588 min - $101,109 max p.a.
