Administration Officer
Our client in Newcastle (Wallsend) is looking for administrators to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.


Key accountabilities:


  • Provide administrative duties including record keeping, data entry, customer enquiries and bookings.
  • Prepare and organise documents including minutes, reports and correspondence.
  • Responds to internal and external enquires.
  • Assists with audits, investigations and inspections.
  • Support a range of administration activities from a variety of stakeholders.
  • Organise and records tools, equipment and materials.
  • Coordinate purchase orders, invoices and payments.
  • Processe and maintains data entry and record management for a range of purposes including project
facilitation, training, authorisations, time entry and roster support as required.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be directed by your Manager, in line with the Work Level Standards for this role.

Selection criteria:


  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Intermediate computer literacy in Microsoft Office and systems.
  • Strong organisation, prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in dealing with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Recognised analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral with a customer focus for service delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • High level of attention to detail, personals initiative and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to exercise a high level of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive or personal matters.
