About the role


Due to our rapid growth strategy, we require a full-time (5 days a week) field technician who will be responsible for installing and maintaining our available car-sharing technologies in the field.

You will be based in Brisbane and on the road (Brisbane, Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast) performing tech installations, maintenance and uninstalls.

You will also be required to use your own phone and car to travel between jobs. Enrolled students or recent graduates are also welcome to apply.


In this role, you'll be:


  • Assisting with daytoday tech installs, fleet maintenance, and uninstalls
  • Processing new stock/devices as per requirements
  • Scanning incoming stock in the system
  • Preparing devices for installation specifically soldering and setting up devices as required
  • Performing regular maintenance on faulty devices as required
  • Reporting on key stockrelated metrics on a weekly basis
  • Coordinating with Ops admin team to organise installations, maintenance, and uninstalls
  • Coordinating with external contractors and suppliers in providing support in installations
  • Assisting with storing, handling and labelling of incoming and outgoing stock

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • A year's experience in a similar role highly desirable
  • Proficiency in field operations and car lock/unlocking systems (optional)
  • Technical background with proficiency in following directions and instructions for device repairs and setup
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills comfortable communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proactiveness sharing best practices and ideas to improve processes
  • Relationshipbuilding skills, team player spirit
  • Drive and growth mindset a willing to take on more responsibilities as your experience grows
