About the company:


Our client a not-for-profit based just north of Melbourne's CBD are looking for an injury management advisor to join their WHS team.

You will be reporting into the Nationals WHS Advisor and working alongside a WHS Administrator. The team sits in the People and Culture department.

This is a 3-month contract and is to start ASAP. The role is working Monday - Friday. The organisation offers flexible work arrangements, generally speaking 3 days in the office and 2 from home.


The organisation are transferring all their injury management cases inhouse instead of using a provider so require someone to support them through this process.


Your key responsibilities include:


  • Review all current Workers Compensation (WC) claims and prepare a gap analysis
  • Transition all WC documentation to internal IT systems
  • Advise and build relationships with relevant stakeholders to make them aware of the changes, for example, insurance providers
  • Communicate changes to stakeholders internally
  • Work in conjunction with the returntowork provider to ensure a smooth transition
  • Administrative and adhoc projects as required

You will have the following:


  • Endtoend general claims management and processing experience
  • Relevant experience in WorkCover claims and premium management is beneficial
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake research and analysis and prepare reports and other documents.
