This wonderful company is looking for a National Sales Manager to join their team.


Position Terms:


  • Full-Time Permanent Role, 1 Day WFH
  • Salary $90,000 $110,000 plus super
depending on experience


The Role:


The National Sales Manager will be responsible for selling expo space and sponsorship packages for the various exhibitions this Agency organises.

The National Sales Manager strive for excellence in the achievement of sales and sponsorship targets, and key responsibilities whilst demonstrating a commitment to work with the team to successfully deliver each exhibition.

Key Responsibilities include;

  • Ensure that all the necessary and appropriate activities, work rate and tasks are implemented to the highest standard to achieve your individual revenue targets for expo space and sponsorship for all your assigned events
  • Reaching a large database of potential exhibitors is one of the most important aspects of the role via a high volume of telephone/video sales calls
  • Initiate regular and ongoing facetoface meetings to build strong relationships with your key clients in each city where the exhibitions are held
  • Conduct regular research, industry networking, lead generation and cold calling to maximise the number and variety of new products, services, and exhibitors in each exhibition
  • Work closely with the Sales Support Coordinator and Event Coordinator's to ensure they are well managed and provide you with all the administrative, lead prospecting and weekly strategic call prospect lists you require to focus on effective and targeted selling
  • Create and implement effective strategies to actively promote the exhibitions en masse to the prospect databases including regular and targeted EDMs
  • Continually research and identify potential new business throughout Australia and overseas, and ensure that you source and contract the minimum and appropriate number of exhibitors for each category to create diversity and variety on the floor of each exhibition
  • Excellent lead generation and sales admin skills
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Ability to travel interstate for facetoface client meetings
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
