THE ROLE


We're looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join us on a 12 month contract to support the sustainability communications stream within the Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability (PACS) team at CCEP Australia.

Our Communications Team works flexibly with a combination of office days and WFH.


Reporting into the Communications Lead Australia, with a dotted line to the VP of PACS, you will provide communications support and counsel to key sustainability stakeholders across the CCEP Australia business, including business partnering the Sustainability Lead for Australia.

The key to success in this position will be your initiative, curiosity and proactive approach to identifying opportunities to equip our business to carry CCEP's sustainability narrative further within both the internal and external landscape.

Your written and verbal communication skills will be exceptional, as will your ability to build relationships internally and externally.

You'll need to be confident and comfortable in developing relationships across all functions of the business, and all levels, to find the right answers, or to get the help you need to deliver on a variety of projects.

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about CCEP' sustainability roadmap, while also having an understanding of the balance between the external pressures and demands of stakeholders - and the internal pressures of a commercial business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Developing and executing integrated communication strategies and plans to support sustainable business initiatives and detailing how they drive business success.
  • Creating compelling sustainability content in a variety of formats for use across a range of corporate internal and external channels.
  • Liaising with the sustainability lead as well as key leaders and internal stakeholders from across all functions (including Supply Chain, Sales, P&C) to plan, create and publish internal communications, using a range of channels and formats.
  • Support the Sustainability Lead on a day to day basis with communications; such as messaging documents, presentations.
  • Working closely with communications colleagues to ensure delivery of the highest quality, engaging content across channels driven by audience data.
  • Support the Communications Lead on media enquiries and PR opportunities.
  • Working proactively to identify communication gaps and deliver high quality solutions and improvements.
  • Cultivate solid partnerships with internal stakeholders to better develop, coordinate, and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet sustainable business goals.
  • Familiar with sustainability issues and relevant stakeholders, developing supporting narratives, key messages and Q&A to support external engagement
  • Working at times with PACS colleagues in the central/global team based in Europe

ABOUT YOU

  • You will have 68 years' experience working in an inhouse or agency communications team with exposure to complex corporate / matrix environments
  • Experience developing and implementing both internal and external communications strategies
  • A strong understanding of how to use visual communication to support messaging, and ability to create compelling content
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of people
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and effectively manage time and prioritise workload, and competing demands and stakeholders
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for content creation desirable
