Blooms the Chemist Casey Central has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a full time (Tues - Sat) dispensary technician to work within our dedicated Aged Care team.

This position offers the chance to work in a rapidly expanding industry with the use of the latest technologies in pharmacy services.

On the job training will be provided.

You will have the opportunity to become intimately experienced with some of the newest technologies and procedures in the industry.

Minimum remuneration starts at level 3, under the Pharmacy Industry Award (this may vary depending on experience) as well as staff discounts and staff incentives.

KPI's are ongoing storewide and will be further developed according to your role.


The position will involve:


  • Liaising with pharmacists and the team to maintain Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF) requirements

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate:

  • Accurate and detailed knowledge of the pharmaceutical benefits scheme and associated administrative requirements.
  • Excellent and diplomatic communication skills
  • High level of organisation and ability to see tasks through to final outcome
  • The ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • The ability to integrate into a busy team environment
  • Adaptability to multiple positions and undertakings
  • The desire to learn and assimilate to new processes and a dynamic workplace

Requirements:

- _Dispensary Technician Qualification_
- _Experience with DispWorks preferred but not essential_
- _Aged Care experience is preferable but not essential_
- _Excellent communication and interpersonal skills_
- _Established computer proficiency_
- _Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment_
- _At least 1 year experience as a dispensary technician_

$ $29.99 per hour
