Take us to the next level with our social and digital communications at Maroondah.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Social Media and Digital Officer to join our team here at Maroondah City Council.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and developing our social media channels and digital communication platforms to ensure effective engagement with our local community as well as using analytics to adapt and improve our engagement and reach and provide detailed reports on campaign results.

The role will be responsible for maintaining a rolling content schedule in line with our Social Media Policy, brand guidelines, campaigns and budget and will support the implementation of Council's digital strategy.

To be successful you will have a relevant tertiary qualification with demonstrated experience in a similar role, including managing social media platforms and implementation of communication and engagement plans.

You will be an excellent communicator (written and verbal) and have a passion for keeping abreast of developments in social and digital technology and communications.
