Joshua Feld

My name is Joshua, and I’m currently a third-year exchange student at The University of Sydney. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Data Science with minors in Computer Science and Mathematics, and have further experience studying Psychology and Legal Studies. Data is all around us, and I am passionate about leveraging data-driven insights to create positive impacts for individuals and communities. 

My skills range from topics such as data processing, machine learning, database management, and more. I have experience with data work in both professional and academic environments and am open to applying my skills in either field for Summer 2025. 

I interned at a psychology research center for much of 2024, and was able to utilize data processing and normalization techniques. I am currently working virtually in a lab at Columbia university as well, where a big part of my responsibilities are data entry and processing. 

At the University of Rochester, I have elected to pursue a B.S. in Data Science with minors in both Math and Computer Science. My coursework ranges from advanced math classes to important technical classes such as database management, artificial intelligence, and algorithm design.
