Position Overview: Leading a team of SAS professionals, built and maintained bespoke SAS fraud detection systems on Windows and Unix using SAS 9.4, MySQL, PHP, and user interfaces.
Tools: SAS Foundation, SAS SMC, SAS DI Studio, LSF, Unix scripting.
Achievements:
Developed methods and processes to ensure quality, sustainability and reliability in the data analysis and fraud alerting processes. Built a culture of customer-focused service in the team. My team performed IT services outside the usual box of IT processes allowing rapid development, deployment and tailored solutions for fraud analytics.
Key Highlights:

- Developed a method for quick detection and SMS notification of any problem arising on the multiple Windows platforms.
- Developed measurements showing resource consumption of each Unix process. This provided far greater insight into the causes of CPU and platform performance issues.
- Worked with IT to migrate to SAS 9.4 on Unix and then a complete re-platforming to Linux.
