About Briody Halder:

I am a driven, self-motivated, friendly individual with a strong background in administration, office management, sales, and event management. I have worked across a range of activities providing high level administration including diary and travel management, project support, assistance with meetings and events, recruitment, and various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. I am a strong communicator, approachable, flexible and have experience working in the private and public sector. My passion for education, learning and creativity has led me to completing a Diploma in Event Management and Diploma in Interior Design. 

Experience

I am a driven and self-motivated professional with several years’ experience in executive support, office management, administration, project administration and event management. I possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities and excel in organisation and time management. I have a proven track record in contract administration and financial management, and I am proficient in Adobe InDesign, allowing me to create visually compelling and professional documents.

In my current role as a Project Administrator, I collaborate closely with my commercial manager and project leaders to support the strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of diverse international projects. I assist in contract administration, including detailed processing of payments, variations, and extensions, ensuring strict compliance with all contractual procedures. I manage comprehensive project documentation, uphold organisational standards, and implement advanced record and information management systems to maintain data integrity and accessibility. Additionally, I coordinate administrative tasks, manage international travel logistics, and execute financial functions to facilitate seamless processes.

I possess extensive experience navigating government frameworks and processes, gain through roles in public sector organisations. Previously, as an Executive Support Officer for ACT Government, I effectively managed the busy schedules of two executives, providing high level administration including diary and travel management, record keeping, quality assurance ensuring documents were suitable for executive clearance, assistance with meetings and events, recruitment, and various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. To optimise efficiency, I developed an Actions Schedule to identify key tasks, prioritise workload, and multi-task to manage competing priorities, ensuring timely document clearance and preparation for meetings. Additionally, I managed multiple inboxes, distributed paperwork, and consistently met deadlines, demonstrating my ability to handle high-pressure situations with precision and professionalism. 

Throughout my career, I have developed strong working relationships with team members and both internal and external stakeholders. My strong communication skills have allowed me to contribute to healthy and inclusive workplaces by working collaboratively, actively networking, and engaging in feedback. I would bring to any role several years’ experience in administration and office management and can deliver timely, accurate and effective executive support services through my strong communication and written skills, attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines and experience working in complex environments. I am transparent, open, and happy to receive feedback.
