Position Information:

Kellyville Ridge Public School is an active and proud member of The Ponds Learning Community. We have an enrolment of 681 students, from culturally rich and socially diverse backgrounds.

56% of our students are from English as an Additional Language or Dialect and 1% of our students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

Our 26 classes from Kindergarten to Year 6 are stage-based and our staff are committed to supporting students' individual, intellectual, social-emotional, creative and physical abilities.


Our school staff is a mix of experienced and early career teachers; with a variety of strengths; who work collaboratively to ensure that teaching and learning programs accommodate the individual needs of all students, and that innovative and engaging literacy and numeracy programs, aligned to the new syllabus' are delivered.


The school provides a safe and supportive environment that promotes positive relationships and encourages students to achieve their full potential.

The school embeds the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework across all school systems to enhance academic and pro social behaviour and decision making for students.


Kellyville Ridge has an enthusiastic P&C and works closely with the community to promote and celebrate student achievement in all aspects of school life.


Selection Criteria:


  • Approval to teach infants and primary K-6 with demonstrated capacity to provide engaging lessons that adapt to the needs of a diverse range of learners.
  • Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based teaching practices with an emphasis on Visible Learning and utilising data to drive improvement in student outcomes.
  • A demonstrated capacity to create positive, safe learning environments that empower student voice and build student resilience.
  • Highly developed communication and organisational skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and support whole school programs, such as in sport and ICT that engage students, parents and staff.
