  • We have exciting opportunities for Accounts Receivable Officers to join us on a temporary contract basis. These positions will be based at our Support Office in Hawthorn East, just 9 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. Our support office is a thriving, supportive and friendly environment, where you will have the opportunity to work with other passionate people.
  • We have residential Aged care Facilities, Home Care packages and Commonwealth Health Support Programs.
  • The principal focus of the Accounts Receivable Officers is to facilitate the preparation of timely and accurate reconciliations with Services Australia and the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), liaise with Residential Services and Community Health and Care to correct any variances between claims and payments received, update client funding related records and account for monthly CDC entries.
  • Your daytoday activities may include:
  • Ensuring Residential Services and Home Care Services maximise and recognise all available income from the government in a timely manner
  • Processing Direct Debits on our financial systems
  • Reconciliation and correction of all variances identified for both residential services and home care with Services Australia and DVA
  • Reconciliation of all RACS id's expected funding to Medicare Payment Statements and followup of variances
  • Managing the Review and accounting of the CDC register for Homecare on a monthly basis
  • Addressing and liaising with clients on their accounts queries
  • Undertaking other finance tasks as required
  • To thrive in the role you will have:
  • A tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, or business studies or a related field( Desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable / Reconciliations
  • A strong ability to analyse, problemsolve, and work within tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
  • Advanced MS Office skills with the ability to learn new system skills
  • Knowledge of EPICOR and experience within health, aged care, and/or community service sector (desirable)
