Allied Health - Administration Officer

Your new team
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Allied Health Administration team. This is a full-time role based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) City Campus in the Allied Health Department.
Your Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an administration officer to join the allied health department.

Working as part of a dynamic team, the administration officer will be responsible for a number of key patient-facing & office-based tasks.


About You

  • Provide the Allied Health Department with general secretarial and administrative support
  • Provide high quality customer service to people presenting to Allied Health reception in person, via telephone, or telehealth.
  • Undertake administrative duties including typing, faxing, collation, photocopying, laminating, answering phones and pagers
  • Distribute, collate and sort daily mail
  • Ensure the reception and patient waiting area is clean and tidy and attended during business hours
  • Place and reconcile orders, monitor and control stocks of office supplies and equipment
  • Tasks as directed by AH Admin Senior Admin, Manager AH Administration and Allied Health Clinical Staff
  • Demonstrate the ability to remain flexible and respond to additional responsibilities as required by the AH Admin Senior Admin, Manager AH Administration and Allied Health Clinical Staff
  • Practice and promote the Melbourne Health Values
