About the role:


We are currently looking for an experienced Field Auditor to inspect our overhead and underground assets present in our networks, mainly across multiple regions of Victoria.

The critical role is responsible for maximising the quality and compliance of assets connected to the distribution network.

As part of this, Field Auditors will assess a range of assets for compliance with company/industry technical standards and regulatory requirements including procedural and health & safety compliance for all works being performed on the network.


This is a busy, exciting, and hands on position where you will truly have the opportunity to make your mark on our business using your extensive knowledge of our distribution network and findings from audits to drive continuous improvement.


What you'll deliver:


  • Undertake field audits including overhead & underground construction, metering & servicing, maintenance, pole to pit, public lighting and external construction audits ensuring audit findings are accurately captured
  • Conduct quality reviews onsite for inscope audit types and provide advice to field teams around potential audit findings
  • Enter audit findings and closure of any observations or noncompliances into company systems and databases (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Preparation of audit findings including reports and communication to the field teams
  • Conduct JSEAs prior to commencing a field audit.

To succeed in the role you'll have:

  • Technical or trade qualification in the electrical field (for example, certificate/diploma in power systems, electrotechnology, or similar)
  • Auditing experience on electrical distribution networks
  • Detailed knowledge of overhead and underground policies and practices
  • Detailed knowledge of metering and servicing policies and practices
  • Computer literacy and basic skills in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
