About the Role
Western Sydney University is seeking a suitably qualified Mental Health Advisor (MHA) (registered Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist or AASW Social Worker) with extensive experience in the provision of wellbeing services to join the team.
MHA at Western Sydney University provide a range of services to students who need assistance with personal and academic related issues so that they are able to successfully complete their studies.
As a MHA you will use a range of approaches in your practice including; individual and group consultations via a range of mediums including face-to-face, online and phone.
You will also have extensive experience with complex mental health conditions, the management of these conditions and appropriate referral skills.
Your ability to deliver support in an ever-changing environment will be well regarded.It is a mandatory requirement for any incumbent of this position to have a current NSW employee working with children clearance in accordance with the NSW Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
This position is based at Bankstown city campus though travel to other campuses may be required.

Remuneration Package:
HEW Level 8 $126,502 to $140,431 p.a. (comprising Salary of $106,896 to $118,666 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
