C.E.M. Alliance are seeking an experienced
Category Specialist to join our client's corporate team based locally in Perth.

About the role:

The focus of the role is to manage category strategies, to deliver sustained value.

Reporting to the Category Management Lead, working in a team of three, and with direct reports in the future.

You will be supporting operations that involve a large fleet of mining plant and equipment as well as other ancillary items, consumables, components and spares etc.

To be considered, you must meet the following criteria:

Category management and strategic sourcing experience in an Australian mining context
2+ years' experience working in Category Management
Knowledge of mining supply chain and associated spend categories.
Experience in strategic sourcing, category management and procurement.
Experience in using large scale ERP and business intelligence or reporting tools.
