Risk Management is responsible for protecting the Group's and Bankwest's interests by offering insightful risk leadership and a commercial yet independent approach to managing risks.

The Board and Regulators trust Risk Management to be the line of defence that ensures returns are achieved within an acceptable level of risk.

On a day to day basis you will:


  • Provide advice, review and challenge of material credit changes across Consumer Finance products and Collections.
  • Support development of a comprehensive view of credit risk including changing macroeconomic environment.
  • Assist with setting of credit risk appetite across Consumer Finance products.
  • Provide proven problemsolving capabilities to contribute to innovation across the RBS Risk Management function.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:


  • Proven experience working in an Analytics Data role with
    SQL, R or R Shiny
:


  • Strong understanding of macroeconomic regulatory environments and Credit Risk.
  • Enjoy transferring knowledge with experience in managing and coaching team members.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to succinctly articulate key insights and advice to diverse audiences.
  • Degree qualified in Business/Finance discipline or a relevant quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, or Statistics is desirable.
