About the Opportunity:

The Health & Safety Specialist will work to support our Strategy and Development team and implement H&S policies, standards, frameworks, and systems across CleanCo's renewable energy project developments (e.g., Wind/solar farms, large scale renewable batteries and infrastructure projects).

This newly created opportunity in our growing organisation will ensure that health and safety measures are effectively planned, implemented, and maintained throughout the entire lifecycle of new development projects, promoting a safe and secure working environment for all individuals.

You will be pivotal in the development and implementation of a robust health and safety framework, driving consistent management processes, and serving as the go-to resource for stakeholders to meet their health and safety obligations.

This is a permanent opportunity to join the CleanCo team and includes semi regular travel to site in Far North and Central QLD.

About you:

You bring significant experience in Health & Safety focused positions within the highrisk development/construction focused industry.
You have a solid technical background, including knowledge of applicable legislation, acts, regulations, codes of practice and standards in the power generating industry and construction projects.
You thrive on developing, implementing, and enforcing safety procedures, policies, and guidelines that establish a safe working environment for all.
Your experience includes working within HSE risk frameworks and managing and operating safe control of work systems in a highrisk environment.
You have previous experience working Owners Side on projects in development and in the Pre-Contracts cycle.
You have a passion to be part of something bigger than yourself, that contributes to the delivery of a clean energy future crafted in Queensland.
