Our client is leading financial institution committed to providing exceptional services to our customers.

As part of our ongoing efforts to combat fraud and protect our clients, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fraud Officer to join our dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our fraud prevention efforts and ensure the safety and security of our customers' financial transactions.


Responsibilities:


  • Handle inbound calls from customers in response to fraud detection system alerts.
  • Provide prompt and efficient service to customers reporting suspicious or fraudulent activity.
  • Conduct thorough investigations to assess the validity of reported fraud incidents.
  • Gather relevant information and documentation to support fraud investigation processes.
  • Analyze customer accounts and transactions to identify potential fraudulent patterns.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as the security team and law enforcement agencies, to escalate and report fraud cases as necessary.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement fraud prevention strategies and initiatives.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest fraud trends, techniques, and prevention measures.
  • Educate customers on fraud prevention best practices and advise them on steps to protect their accounts and personal information.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of fraud incidents, investigations, and outcomes.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of fraud detection and prevention techniques.
  • Familiarity with fraud detection systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities to assess and investigate fraud incidents.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices in fraud prevention.
