Foster House supports individuals experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

We are looking for caring, empathic and compassionate individuals to support our team to create a a great experience for our residents and individuals connected to our service.

We are looking for people who want to help us make a difference for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

You will need to be a good communicator and willing to take direction.

This role will support the residents and operations of Foster House by:

Driving residents to events
Retrieving and delivering donations such as baked goods and pasties
Help sorting donations such as clothing, household goods and pantry items
Wash cars and keep them tidy
Other duties which may require heavy lifting

This role requires a WWCC, Police Check.

Time commitment for this role:

Flexible work roster agreed to with manager
Unrestricted drivers license
Minimum 6month commitment
The Salvation Army is a child safe organisation and is committed to protecting children and young people from harm. All child related roles will require the successful completion of a Working with Children Check. _Additionally, certain volunteer roles may require a National Police Check._
