- Visit customers, both potential and existing, as directed by National Project Manager
- Prepare quotations for services for both potential and existing customers
- Qualify prospective customers via telephone or in person
- Attend and participate in Quality meetings as directed by the Managing Director
- Taking appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of nonconformances
- Recording internal and external complaints on QIR'S
- Documenting Document Change Requests
- Responsibility for the implementation of procedures relating to their area
- The responsibility of participating in Quality Planning activities when requested and for implementing those actions
- Review the effectiveness and continued stability of the Quality Management System
- Review customer purchase orders, telephone, overthecounter orders and for resolving all outstanding issues
- To liase with brokers, agents and/or vessel owners regarding charter rates (import and export)
- Input all shipments, costs and charges in operations systems and check all original documents
- Liase with overseas offices and agents to help formulate estimates of local freight charges to be included in tender submissions for Request for Quotations received by customers.
- Diploma, First Degree, or relevant experience
- 5+ years of International Logistics experience
- Experience in transport industry and/or projects
- Advanced training in Microsoft Office Products.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong negotiation skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
