The Position

Visit customers, both potential and existing, as directed by National Project Manager
Prepare quotations for services for both potential and existing customers
Qualify prospective customers via telephone or in person
Attend and participate in Quality meetings as directed by the Managing Director
Taking appropriate corrective action to prevent recurrence of nonconformances
Recording internal and external complaints on QIR'S
Documenting Document Change Requests
Responsibility for the implementation of procedures relating to their area
The responsibility of participating in Quality Planning activities when requested and for implementing those actions
Review the effectiveness and continued stability of the Quality Management System
Review customer purchase orders, telephone, overthecounter orders and for resolving all outstanding issues
To liase with brokers, agents and/or vessel owners regarding charter rates (import and export)
Input all shipments, costs and charges in operations systems and check all original documents
Liase with overseas offices and agents to help formulate estimates of local freight charges to be included in tender submissions for Request for Quotations received by customers.
Diploma, First Degree, or relevant experience
5+ years of International Logistics experience
Experience in transport industry and/or projects
Advanced training in Microsoft Office Products.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong negotiation skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
