Labourfoce have a couple of great openings for freight sorters based with our client in Forrestfield. This is an ongoing role with a leading International Fright company.

The Role:

Sorting and moving freight including cartons, satchels and parcels into designated bays, cages and crates
Performing repetitive manual handling tasks including lifting heavy and bulky freight items (up to 20kgs at times)
Reading labels and sorting freight into the correct areas
Scanning freight as required
Support freight movements from our conveyor system to designated areas
Palletising and shrinkwrapping freight
General warehouse and housekeeping duties as required
Following all company policies and procedures
Ensure you maintain a safe working environment

Hours:

Monday, Thursday and Friday
6am approx 2pm

What you need:

Experience working in a manual handling, fast paced positon
To be saftey focused and have an understanding of chain of responsibility
Strong communication skills (Written and verbal)
Have a proven track record as a reliable member in teams

This is a physically demanding position but you will be based in a team with excillent team culture and for the right person a long term opportunity in the team.
