We are in search of passionate Educators to become part of our team at The Y School campus in Mirrabooka, located in Perth, WA.

Your Contribution:

At The Y School, our goal is to embody the Y's core principles of Respect, Honesty, Responsibility & Caring by delivering top-notch educational experiences for all students.

Functioning as a CARE (Curriculum & Re-Engagement) School, our focus lies in catering to the specific needs of students, dedicating time, effort, and expertise to create effective Individual Education Plans.

We establish connections with students to support them in progressing towards higher education or employment opportunities, including WACE pathways, School-Based Traineeships, and university preparatory courses.

Our primary objective is to help students re-connect with education, aiding them in overcoming challenges and fostering a path to success.

You will collaborate within a multifaceted team, cooperating with Youth Workers, School Counsellors, and external agencies to address mental health as well as social and emotional concerns.

In your role as a Teacher within this team, you will oversee the design and implementation of academic and experiential programs, manage student records, develop Individual Education Plans, and establish strong connections with students and relevant stakeholders.

You're a perfect fit for this role if you:

Are currently registered as a Teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
Possess a recognized Tertiary qualification in Education or Teaching in Western Australia
Are recognized for your exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
Have expertise in Explicit Teaching methodologies
Can acquire a valid National Police Check and Working With Children Check
