The Role:

Our client is building a new business internally that uses their own customer data to support external and internal customers solving to real business problems with data and building new products.

It is essentially a risk free and exciting start-up environment powered by one of Australia's biggest companies.

In 12 months since their launch, they have built a fantastic team with great leadership, built new of exciting data products and have a growing list of clients.

The next phase with more investment available is to double the team size in 2023 to cope with the growing demand from their clients.

As a Data Analytics Consulting Analyst you will be in a client facing role, helping customers unlock the power or data and insights within their own businesses.

You will have a combination of skills and experience that will help the team including:

good commercial acumen, the ability to see insights in various data sets and be able to deliver analytical products and solutions.

Translate business requirements, preparing outstanding pitch decks and support the sales team in meetings.

Undertaking research and evaluation of potential customers

Ensuring that all pre-sales collateral in circulation is standardised and in line with the latest thinking.

Required experience and skills:

There is no set amount of experience to do this role, but given we need someone confident and with a proven trackrecord working with clients on analytics, data product or and data science projects we would see the very minimum level as 34 years in a professional analytics consultant role
Experience coming from Management consulting or someone from a presales role within a tech company would be very desirable
Experience generating insights from data
Track record of producing high quality customer pitch decks for insights and or analytical services
A academic background in; Econometrics, Maths, Actuarial Studies, Engineering, Science, Machine Learning or similar would be helpful
Experience working with clients on Marketing analytics projects is ideal
Ability to learn new concepts quickly and a passion for data and analytics
