Located in the CBD, this position is a great opportunity for a Payroll Governance & Compliance Specialist looking for their next challenge.


Responsibilities


As part of the P&C team, the Pay and Entitlement Governance Specialist plays a key role in supporting the business to deliver exceptional service to their customers.

The role works closely with key internal stakeholders and is responsible for leading the assurance of governance to Award and Enterprise Agreement pay obligations and interaction with time and attendance (T&A) and payroll.

This includes the provision of analytics and reporting that measure continued compliance and enables immediate intervention where non-compliance or potential risk is identified.


The Pay and Entitlement Governance Specialist provides education and insight and is a data driven role that identifies current and future pay and entitlement requirements through analysis, training, recommendations and responsiveness.


The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have:

  • Proven experience in a payroll or workforce planning environment
  • Working knowledge of Award/Enterprise Agreement implications on rostering practices
  • Experience coaching in areas of best practice time and attendance
  • Understanding of pay scales, penalty rates and workforce budget management
  • Experience with Kronos or other time management systems is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage key stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Strong business analytical skills
  • Welldeveloped numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Works with others to achieve common goals
