About the role:

1x full time, fixed term until 2/02/2025

1x part time, 0.6FTE (6 days per fortnight), fixed term, up until 29/09/2024

Working within the Recruiting Services Branch, Recruitment & Deployment Division, located at the Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.

Your duties will include:


  • Day to day administrative tasks as required.
  • Vetting of documents and databases.
  • Drafting reports with recommendations.
  • Dealing with applicant enquires and providing advice on process.
  • Maintaining systems and databases.
  • Research and vetting into applicants' suitability.
  • Analysing information and probing for facts.
  • Write triage reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders' consideration.
  • Liaising with stakeholders.
  • Providing advice on selection processes.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Demonstrated office support experience with the ability to effectively perform and coordinate administrative and customer service tasks.
  • Proven ability to respond flexibly to client needs, providing advice and solutions in a polite and considerable manner.
  • A Fitness qualification would be desirable, however is not mandatory.
  • An understanding of Victoria Police Intelligence assessment tools.
  • Welldeveloped data entry skills with experience in the maintenance of comprehensive records (manual and computerised) and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cohesively in a team.
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal communication skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and a highlevel attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience with managing and end to end recruitment function.
  • Ability to draw inferences from various sources to make a recommendation.
